Today was a pretty good day.

I got up about an hour before Adam did and went down and read my book. I am currently reading "On Chesil Beach" by Ian McEwan...It is supposed to be "mesmerizing". Sprucie cuddled on my lap while I read, which he usually does. I love it when he does that.

Then Adam made me pancakes and bacon for breakfast and it was really good, even though I don't really like pancakes:(

We left at about 9:30 to go to Starbucks, then we were off with Mocha to Marymoor Dog Park. She loves that place! It was so much fun. People always call her lassie, or ask if she is a collie. There were these huge piles of bark chips, and Mocha climbed on top of one and did some tricks. In all the times we have been there, only once have we seen another Shetland Sheepdog. We are considering getting a golden retriever for ourselves for Christmas....we'll see;)

After the dog park, we went to TJ Max so that Adam could buy me my anniversary present: a suitcase for our November trip to Paris! It's a carry on, and it's a dark orange colour, which is different than most people, who tend to have black or red suitcases...which actually won't even matter since we'll be carrying our suitcases on...but it will matter in the future, maybe?? Hopefully our hotel in Paris had laundry, because I don't think that my suitcase will fit two weeks of clothes.

Then we went to Costco, to eat a hotdog and look at Christmas trees!

Now we're at home. I've been cleaning since 2:30, and am finally done. It's nice to have a clean home.

We're cooking salmon for supper. Adam made focaccia and I am in charge of the salmon. I can't wait to eat it!

Tonight I want to watch "Love, Actually". We'll see if Adam will put up with it.

Welllllllll........That was my Sunday. How was yours?

Love, Actually is a great movie. It`s pretty funny too. I find most British romantic comedies are.

I like british humour in general...go figure, my dad is from england! haha but really, I usually find that British shows (Keeping Up Appearances, anyone???) are hilarious.

I used to watch Keeping Up Appearance late night on YTV :p The antics of Mrs. Bucket always made me giggle.

I LOVE that show...Its weird because I always used to think that my family was the only one that knew about that show and that it was our little secret british program, but then I found out that my husband used to watch it with his grandparents, and so now I don't think it's so secret anymore.

Sounds like you guys had a great end to the week. There is a great quote about Pancakes in "Stranger than Fiction" (of which I cannot find a youtube video to) if you've ever seen it.

We did:) I don't like pancakes:( I've never heard of that quote, but I will try to find it.

Are you coming to visit your relatives this November? It would be great to see you, if you're coming this way.

It was really fun. We really want to get a golden, but it's going to be expensive and we're not sure if now is a good time:( MAYBE Christmas time will be better.

Yeah, sounds like a really nice Sunday! Definitely more fun than Jay's and mine. I spent nearly the entire day studying....*sigh* I am ready for my three years to be up...and I am on week 3...I hope that is not a terrible sign =)

Do you have a lot of homework regularly, or was it weird to spend all day doing it?

I hope you'll have fun in law school. Have you guys been to a game at the new stadium, yet? I heard its really nice, although the Gophers lost their last game:(

Right now that is a very common weekend for me...granted that was just my second weekend. It's just there is a lot of homework and it takes a while to do it and really feel like you understand what was being said. It can be VERY frustrating to have read an entire case and get to the end and have absolutely no idea why you were reading it. Sadly, that happens more than I would like to. Overall, it's going fine; it is just a big adjustment.

It is fun hearing what others do with their time because it just makes me ready to be out on the other side in a few years.

Have fun in Paris. You will have to post about your trip when you are back!
